Gas prices rise dramatically in Europe

Gas prices in Europe recorded a significant increase of 7 percent, exceeding $2,200 per thousand cubic meters.
Gas prices in the old continent have recently witnessed great fluctuations, according to Russian and German statements about the possibility of pumping gas back through the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which appears to be not returning to service soon.
Russia had also announced that it would stop pumping gas through pipelines in Ukraine due to the beneficiary companies’ refusal to pay in rubles.
