Gazprom attached to the gas supply

Russia’s Gazprom has announced the suspension of gas supplies through the “TurkStream” stream from June 21 to 28.

According to a statement issued by the Russian energy giant Gazprom, gas supplies through the TurkStream pipeline will be suspended from June 21 to June 28 due to the planned annual maintenance.

The statement also said: “Transportation of gas via the Turk Stream gas pipeline will be suspended from June 21 to 28, 2022, in connection with the planned preventive maintenance.”

The company indicated that the process of suspending gas delivery through this line was previously agreed upon by all stakeholders.

It is also noted that the “Turk Stream” pipeline is a pipeline to export gas from Russia to Turkey via the Black Sea, with a capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas annually.

This line was designed with this capacity in order to supply gas to Turkey and the countries of southern and southeastern Europe through Turkish territory.
