Gold in Syria achieves a historic price

Gold prices continued to rise in Syria and today achieved the highest price in the country’s history
Although it settled for two days at lira 348000 for 21 calibre grams, the price of gold again rose and set a record at lira 352000.
An 18-carat gold gram was recorded at LS 300,000.
The Craftsman’s Association in Damascus attributed the rise in gold prices to a dramatic rise in the global price of an ounce.
