We will be on the date and time for the charity match between FC Barcelona and Manchester City at the Camp Nou in order to raise funds in the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), the degenerative disease suffered by the former goalkeeper and former coach of FC Barcelona, Juan Carlos Anzue.
As FC Barcelona has officially announced, the friendly match will take place at the Camp Nou on August 24 from 9:00 pm.
With the aim of collaborating on research that helps explore new ways to treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Barcelona and Manchester City, with Xavi Hernandez and Pep Guardiola on the bench, will face each other in a meeting that will have a strong emotional charge, as well as symbiotic.
It is also scheduled to appear Joan Laporta, Juan Carlos Unzuy and Josep Guardiola at the Auditori 1899 next Monday, to explain ways to collaborate to raise funds.
The original idea of organizing this match dates back to the summer of 2021, but it was postponed due to the inability to use the full capacity of the stadium due to health restrictions caused by the Covid-19 virus.
