Local sources in the northern countryside of Aleppo revealed that recruitment offices affiliated with leaders of what is known as the “National Army” formed by Turkey in northern Syria succeeded in attracting about 300 militants from several areas in the northern and western countryside of Aleppo.
The sources added that these offices are distributed in the cities of Afrin, Jarabulus, and Azaz, and are actively active in recruiting ex-militants between the ages of (17 and 45) years in particular, but they also communicate with young unemployed civilians, in order to travel as mercenaries to Ukraine and fight against Russian units are there.
The sources indicated that the material allowance that the gunman will receive for fighting the Russian army in Ukraine includes a lump sum monthly salary of up to $2,500 per month if he has proven combat experience, and less than that qualitatively for each mercenary recruited with less experience.
The sources also confirmed that the total number of batches that have already left towards Ukraine from the areas controlled by Turkey’s militants during the last two weeks of last month and the first two days of this month, is about 300 militants.
