Hayat Al-Fahad Returns to Drama: Details of the Series “My Mother’s Ideas”
The famous Kuwaiti actress Haya Al-Fahad is making her return to Ramadan 2025 drama season after her absence from the small screen last year, starring in the highly anticipated series “My Mother’s Ideas” (Afaqari Ummii). The series is written by Abdul Mohsen Al-Rodan, directed by Basil Al-Khatib, and produced by Al-Fahad Foundation.
The 30-episode series tells the story of “Shaha” (played by Haya Al-Fahad), a strong-willed and controlling mother who insists on imposing her ideas on her family members, controlling them financially. This creates a series of family conflicts and crises, all set within a dramatic and intriguing narrative.
The series, filmed in Kuwait, also stars Saudi actor Ibrahim Al-Hassawi, Iranian actress Shaima Ali, Saudi actress Hilda Yassin, and several other stars of Gulf drama. The show is set to air during the Ramadan season on Dubai TV and other satellite channels.
