Huge losses to the Israeli economy as a result of the Gaza war

The war in Gaza is taking a heavy toll on the Israeli economy by recruiting tens of thousands of reservists.
Israeli media reported that Israel’s economy is losing about NIS 300 million a day.
The budget deficit stood at NIS 16.6 billion ($4.5 billion) in November.
The deficit as a percentage of GDP rose to 3.4 percent over the past 12 months, up from 2.6 percent in October.
The losses are likely to be exacerbated by the further spillover of the war and if other fronts clearly enter the war line, such as Lebanon and Yemen.
