Hurricane Ida pushed up oil prices

Oil prices returned to growth during trading today, Tuesday, after falling yesterday by about 1%, and prices showed growth today for the first time in three sessions.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 1.32% to $71.22 a barrel.
Brent crude futures rose 0.99 percent to $74.65 a barrel.
The price hike comes due to indications that US supplies are scarce, with some indications showing that part of the production capacity in the Gulf of Mexico will not be restored for several months due to the damage caused by Hurricane Ida.
