Therefore, it is necessary to choose the right protein so that a person can maintain good health and prevent chronic diseases. Dr. Arora warns people, with comorbidities such as kidney disease, lactose intolerance, or pregnant or breastfeeding women, to be more careful about choosing the right type of protein.
There’s a reason why some protein sources are classified as “bad protein,” as they are highly processed or high in saturated fat, which can be harmful to human health, increasing the risk of heart disease, kidney problems, and other health problems.
Therefore, experts advise avoiding eating processed and fried foods, such as some types of sausages, bacon, and fried snacks, which are all considered very unhealthy foods, because they contain preservatives and high levels of salt. Dr. Arora recommends eating good sources of proteins, including legumes, milk, and meat. Fat-free fish, eggs and nuts.
