Important tips to face the summer heat waves

Large areas of the world experience unprecedented rises in temperature during the summer, which may cause damage to the body when exposed to heat stroke or heat shock alike.
Experts recommend that you follow general advice to avoid any harm related to the summer sea, as well as knowing when to seek medical help in this regard:
■ Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, especially in peak periods.
■ Putting a hat or covering on the head or using an umbrella.
■ Wear loose-fitting, light-coloured cotton clothes.
■ Drink a lot of water, especially for the elderly, even without feeling thirsty.
■ Presence in well-ventilated and low-humidity places.
■ Seek immediate medical help in case the body temperature rises above 40 degrees Celsius.
