The International Coalition Continues Its Movements in Syria Between Reinforcements in Hasakah and Raqqa and Withdrawals from Deir ez-Zor

The International Coalition continued its military reinforcements, delivering military and logistical equipment to the “Kharab al-Jir” base in the Rmelan countryside, north of Hasakah, via a cargo plane escorted by two war helicopters, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

These reinforcements came less than 48 hours after a military convoy was sent to Coalition bases in Raqqa, consisting of around 25 trucks loaded with advanced surveillance systems, armored vehicles, and fuel tankers.

Meanwhile, a military convoy belonging to the Coalition forces departed from the Al-Omar and Conoco bases in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, heading toward Coalition bases in Hasakah Province. Local sources in Deir ez-Zor also reported the withdrawal of another convoy from the same two bases toward Iraq. The U.S. Department of Defense had previously announced the continuation of its fight against the Islamic State (ISIS).
