Iran dissolves ethics police and considers imposing hijab

Iran’s Attorney General today announced the dissolution of the country’s ethics police, which was accused of killing 20-year-old student Mehsa Amini, leading to the most violent protests in years.
The Attorney-General confirmed that the country’s authorities were looking into the issue of the imposition of the hijab and would decide on the decision within two weeks.
This search may be concluded to stop Iran’s veil situation since 1979.
