Iran Launches Missile Strike on Israeli Cybersecurity Companies

Iran announced on Friday morning that it had carried out a missile strike targeting the “Gav-Yam 4” facility located within the CyberSpark Innovation Park in Beersheba, southern Israel, causing material damage.
Media reports stated that the targeted complex includes companies providing cybersecurity services, including “Gav-Yam,” which is reported to collaborate with the Israeli military and is considered part of Israel’s advanced technology sector.

According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that the strike also targeted a site affiliated with Microsoft due to its reported cooperation with the Israeli defense establishment.

Iranian sources indicated that the attack also affected residential units housing employees working in fields such as intelligence and artificial intelligence within the CyberSpark complex, which hosts international companies including Microsoft, IBM, Intel, Elbit Systems, Oracle, Dell EMC, PayPal, and WIX.
