Iran warns US forces in Syria

“Our mission and our legitimate presence is to help the Syrian state,” a source of Iranian advisers told Iran’s UNEWS.
“Our legitimate presence under the auspices of the Syrian State is to confront the terrorists and the Takfiri project, headed by ISIS,” the source said.
The targets attacked by United States forces were civilian points in Deir ez-Zor, which were food stores and service centres.
The source revealed that the US occupation attack raised 7 martyrs and wounded 7 others, warning US forces that Iran “has the longitudinal hand in the region”, saying: “We have the capacity to respond if our centres and troops are targeted on Syria’s territory.”
