Iranian denial, Israeli claim of Isfahan attack

Iran’s National Security Council denied any foreign attack on the city of Isfahan at dawn today, and stressed that no explosions or fires were reported in Isfahan’s facilities and the conditions were calm and normal.
For its part, the Washington Post quoted an Israeli official as saying, “Our army launched an air strike inside Iran in response to its attack with missiles and drones on Israel.”
The Israeli official added: “The aim of the strike is to send a signal to Tehran that we have the ability to strike inside Iran.”
Iranian media confirmed at dawn today that what was confronted in the sky of Isfahan were marches launched from inside Iran.
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir commented on the attack as meager.
