Iranian Foreign Ministry summons Chinese ambassador.. The reason?

Signs of a diplomatic crisis between Iran and China have emerged against the backdrop of disturbing Chinese statements to Tehran on the issue of the three islands in the Persian Gulf.
Iranian media said that the Foreign Ministry summoned today the Chinese ambassador to Tehran, against the background of Beijing’s position in support of the UAE on the issue of the three islands.
The issue of the three Abu Musa islands in the Persian Gulf, which are controlled by Iran and considered part of the UAE as part of its territory, is an unresolved problem in the region that occasionally causes tension between Gulf Arab states and Iran.
