Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Comment on Border Tension Between Lebanon and Syria

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its regret over the recent developments on the border between Lebanon and Syria, describing the situation as “regrettable clashes.”

The ministry confirmed that Hezbollah denied the accusations against it regarding the firing from Lebanese territory towards Syria, pointing out that the party that benefits from this escalation is, in its words, Israel, which seeks to divide Syria and weaken neighboring countries.
