Iraq condemns Iran’s bombing of Kurdistan region

Iraq’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Iranian artillery and missile targeting of positions in the northern Kurdistan region.
The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “We condemn the Iranian artillery and missile targeting of four areas in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.”
“Iran’s unilateral provocative actions complicate the security landscape and cast a shadow over the region.”
Iran has today announced its targeting of anti-Tehran terrorist organization sites based in the border mountains of the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
For its part, the Ministry of Health of Iraq announced that 7 people had been killed and 24 wounded as a result of Iran’s bombing of areas in the region.
