IRGC seizes two ships in Persian Gulf

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has seized two ships in the Persian Gulf off the coast of the Abu Musa Islands.
Iranian media said the Revolutionary Guards had seized two ships smuggling 4.5 million litres of fuel off the disputed island of Abu Musa with the United Arab Emirates.
The IRGC detained 34 foreigners on board the two ships, it said.
No group has yet issued a statement of responsibility for the detained vessels.
