IRGC to Trump: “Missiles Produced After the ’12-Day War’ Haven’t Been Used Yet”

The spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) threatened U.S. President Donald Trump, calling on him to send American warships into the Gulf. In remarks carried by Fars News Agency, the spokesman said: “Doesn’t Trump claim he destroyed the Iranian naval forces? If he has the courage, let him send his warships into the Gulf.”

He added that most of the missiles currently being launched were produced in the past decade, noting that many of the missiles manufactured after the “12-Day War” have not yet been used. He also confirmed that many of Iran’s missile stockpiles remain untouched.

These remarks come in response to repeated statements by Trump claiming to have destroyed the Iranian navy and the Islamic Republic’s military capabilities. Trump had said he “defeated Iran militarily and economically” and added that he requested assistance from countries affected by Iran’s actions to secure the Strait of Hormuz.

Later, senior Iranian sources told Reuters that Tehran is currently refusing to discuss any ceasefire, noting that any ceasefire would only be considered if U.S. and Israeli strikes stop entirely.
