Israeli poll determines the identity of the next prime minister

The Israeli newspaper Maariv conducted a poll on the identity of the next prime minister if elections are held immediately.
The poll showed Benny Gantz’s State Camp party would win 39 seats and form the front-line electoral force, while Netanyahu’s Likud party would win only 18 seats in the Knesset.
The poll also showed Finance Minister Smorec failing to cross the election threshold and increasing the chances of radical National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to boost his seats to 10 in the Knesset.
The poll showed the ruling coalition parties would win 44 seats, while opposition parties would win 71 if elections were held.
