Israeli Withdrawal… or Tactical Deception? Five Mysterious Points Keep the Occupation Inside Lebanon!

The Israeli army has withdrawn from all the villages it previously controlled in southern Lebanon, leaving all villages liberated except for five strategic points that Israel has announced its intention to remain in.

What is the secret behind these five points?

According to sources, Israel refuses to withdraw from five strategic locations distributed across the three border sectors:

Tellat Al-Hammams (Eastern Sector) – A strategically important site overlooking the Israeli settlements of Metula and Kiryat Shmona, providing defense for the Khiam area.

Tell Al-Aziyah (Central Sector) – Directly overlooks the Litani River, serving as an advanced observation point.

Tell Al-Oweidah (Central Sector) – A high-altitude site (820 meters) overseeing both the eastern and central sectors.

Jabal Balat (Between the Central and Western Sectors) – Located near the border, acting as a critical observation point.

Jabal Al-Labouneh (Western Sector) – Provides a wide field of view over the border areas and nearby Israeli settlements.

Is it a withdrawal or a repositioning?

These positions share high-altitude advantages, making them key observation and control points. While Israel claims that remaining in these areas is essential for the security of its northern settlements, some analysts argue that this move may be an attempt to impose a new reality on the ground or exert pressure on Lebanon in future negotiations.

Does this withdrawal mark the end of a military era, or is it the beginning of a new equation at the border?
