It is expected that 2 million Egyptians will travel to Libya

Head of the Employment Recruitment Division in Egypt, Hamdi Imam, revealed that the major projects that Egyptian companies will implement inside Libya will contribute to the travel of a large number of Egyptian workers to the neighboring country.
Hamdi Imam expected that the number of Egyptian workers would reach 2 million within two years from now.
Imam stated that Egyptian workers will be allowed to travel to Libya starting next October.
Earlier this week, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly signed the minutes of the meetings of the 11th session of the Egyptian-Libyan Joint High Committee with Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government, on the sidelines of the signing of a number of economic and political agreements between Egypt and Libya.
The Libyan National Unity Government, through the Joint Higher Committee with Egypt, which is being held for the first time since 2009, is also seeking to benefit from Egypt’s efforts in development and the possibility of leading Libya’s reconstruction operations, especially after Salama Al-Ghwail, the Libyan Minister of Economic Affairs, stated that Egypt had acquired 70% of the reconstruction contracts.
