Jafar Express Train… Pakistan Faces New Confrontation
In a tragic incident, the Jafar Express train in Pakistan was attacked by gunmen, leading to the kidnapping of a large number of passengers. During the train’s journey from Quetta to Peshawar, which was carrying more than 450 passengers, dozens of separatist Baloch militants carried out the attack, blowing up a railway line and firing rockets at the train.
According to reports, Pakistani forces managed to free 155 hostages and kill 27 militants so far, while the gunmen announced they had killed 50 hostages during the operation. The security operation is still ongoing with significant efforts to safely rescue the remaining hostages. Hundreds of troops and teams aboard helicopters participated in the rescue operation in a remote mountainous area.
