Jordanian regional movement

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati received today in Beirut his Jordanian counterpart, Bisher Al-Khasawneh, who arrived at Beirut International Airport for an official visit to Lebanon that will continue until Thursday.
Al-Khasawneh is accompanied by a ministerial delegation that includes Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Minister of Presidential Affairs Ibrahim Al-Jazi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Zawati and Minister of Industry and Trade Maha Al-Ali.
Al-Khasawneh will start his visit to Lebanon tomorrow morning with a meeting with Mikati in the Grand Serail, followed by an expanded meeting and then a joint press meeting, with a visit later by Lebanese President Michel Aoun and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
Jordan opened its land borders with Syria today, and yesterday announced the return of flights to Damascus International Airport after a 9-year hiatus.
