The National News Agency reported that the Lebanese Army entered the border town of Housh Al-Sayyid Ali following the withdrawal of Syrian forces.
In a statement, the Lebanese Army announced the implementation of security measures in the area after coordinating with Syrian authorities to secure the border between the two countries.
According to the army’s statement, several illegal crossings between Syria and Lebanon were closed in the Al-Qasr–Hermel and Mashari’ Al-Qaa–Baalbek regions.
