Lebanon’s banks continue to close

Lebanon’s banks continue to close after a series of armed incidents by angry depositors to get their money.
The Lebanese Banking Association said that “the closure of banks continues in the absence of formal and security measures to secure a safe operating climate.”
Some Lebanese citizens attacked, smashed and stormed the Justice Palace in Beirut yesterday, demanding the release of two young men who helped deposit Sally Hafez by breaking into Blum Bank.
