Meeting of the Syrian and Yemeni Foreign Ministers

The Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ahmed bin Mubarak, indicated his attendance at the Arab League meeting held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
Ahmed bin Mubarak published a new tweet on his official account on “X” (formerly Twitter), this evening, Wednesday, in which he confirmed his meeting with his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Al-Miqdad, in Cairo, on the sidelines of an Arab League meeting.
In turn, the Yemeni government news agency explained that the meeting that brought together Ahmed bin Mubarak and Faisal Miqdad is the first of its kind to bring together the foreign ministers of the two countries since 2011, and it is the meeting that Cairo hosted, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level.
It also reported that Bin Mubarak discussed with his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Al-Miqdad, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, in addition to their discussion of the latest developments in the situation in the region, and regional and international files of common interest.
The Yemeni and Syrian ministers stressed the status and strength of the distinguished fraternal relations linking the two countries and the brotherly Yemeni and Syrian peoples.
