Messi speaks for the first time about his return to Barcelona
The Catalan newspaper, El Mundo Deportivo, revealed the position of World Cup champion and Barcelona legend Lionel Messi on returning to his club with the expiration of his contract in Paris Saint-Germain.
The newspaper reported the content of the meeting that took place last week in the French capital, Paris, between Messi and his former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets, and Sergi Roberto with their wives in a family meeting.
According to the newspaper, during the meeting, Messi’s friends asked him a question about his future, to reply that he had “not received any offer from FC Barcelona” yet.
According to El Mundo, Barcelona is awaiting approval from La Liga before officially starting negotiations with Messi, who has a huge offer from the Saudi club Al Hilal.
