Mohamed Salah Extends Liverpool Stay with New Contract and Big Title Ambitions

Liverpool Football Club announced on Friday that Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract, continuing his journey with the team after eight remarkable years at Anfield.
Following the contract signing, Salah expressed his great happiness with the renewal, stating that the team currently boasts a strong lineup capable of competing for major titles.
“I’ve spent the best years of my career here, and I believe we can achieve even more titles and enjoy football together,” the Egyptian star said.
He also expressed gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support, affirming that he will do his utmost to meet their expectations and win more titles in the future.
It is worth noting that Salah’s future with the English club had been uncertain in recent months. At the start of the season, he revealed that he had not received an official offer to renew his contract with Liverpool, suggesting that the chances of his departure were greater than staying.
However, after last week’s match against Manchester City, Salah hinted that it might have been his last game with the club—fueling speculation about his potential exit.
Salah joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma for €40 million. Since then, he has made 394 appearances, scored 243 goals, and played a key role in winning 8 major titles, including the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
