Mohamed Salah Wins Premier League Player of the Month Award for the Seventh Time

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has been crowned Player of the Month in the English Premier League. The Premier League announced that Salah, who plays for Liverpool, received the award for February due to his exceptional performances. During February, he participated in six matches for Liverpool, scoring six goals and providing four assists.

With this victory, Salah equals the record for the most Player of the Month awards in Premier League history, held by England’s Harry Kane and Argentina’s Sergio Agüero, each with seven wins.

Salah’s win surpasses that of Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who was selected Player of the Month six times, tying with former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

This award comes just days after Salah was also named Player of the Month by the Professional Footballers’ Association, an award based on fan voting.

Salah’s recognition comes despite Liverpool’s recent elimination from the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 by Paris Saint-Germain in a penalty shootout.
