Morocco withdraws its ambassadors from Algeria and Iran

Morocco has officially declared the termination of the duties of its ambassadors in Algeria, Hassan Abdel Khaliq, and Iran, Hassan Hami.
The functions of the Moroccan Ambassador to Algeria were terminated on the instructions of the Moroccan King Mohammed VI.
The Journal also referred to the termination of the functions of the Ambassador of Morocco to Iran, in accordance with royal instructions, beginning on the same date.
Algeria severed its relations with Morocco last August, while Iran severed its relations with Morocco in 2018.
