Netanyahu sacks defense minister… And crazy sweeps through Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the removal of Defense Minister Yoav Gallant from his post, calling for a broad protest from Israel’s responsible community.
Israeli officials said Netanyahu accused Gallant of undermining efforts to reach a solution and not coordinating before making his remarks on the draft judicial amendments.
For his part, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid considered the dismissal of Gallant a new step affecting national security, and said in the context that “the head of the Israeli government is a threat to the security of the State of Israel.”
He added: “The dismissal of Gallant is a new step affecting national security from an anti-Zionist government”
In addition, former Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz said: “We support Gallant.. Netanyahu puts himself above security. “
Gideon Sa ‘aar, a Likud MK, stressed that the dismissal of Gallant was “an unprecedented crazy decision”, and Netanyahu was determined to push Israel into the abyss, arguing that Netanyahu endangered Israel and its future.
