French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire announced new projects for his country with the UAE in the field of renewable energy and hydrogen.
According to his statements, French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said today, Sunday: “Paris will work with the UAE on new projects in the energy sector, including renewable energy and hydrogen fuel.”
Le Maire explained his country’s work on these projects as targeting “to reach net zero emissions by 2050,” stressing that it is an important goal, and that his country wants to “work with the UAE on combating climate change.”
Le Maire’s statements came during his two-day visit to the UAE, during which he will hold talks with Emirati officials, including economic relations between the two countries and strengthening cooperation in areas such as space and energy.
Le Maire called for more cooperation, with the French economy entering the stage of recovery after the Corona pandemic.
