Osama Rahbani and Heba Tawaji are absolutely forbidden to sing at the Damascus Opera House

The Syrian Minister of Culture, Lubana Mushawah, announced that musician Osama Rahbani and singer Heba Tawaji will be permanently banned from singing at the Damascus Opera House.

In a radio interview, Minister Mushaweh described Rahbani and Tawaji’s apology for their concerts as “the missing chapter” and that she could not imagine that any of the famous Rahbani family in art could be subjected to political pressure for a concert.

The Minister confirmed that the concert, which was scheduled last March, was at the request of the Lebanese artists, and the concerned authorities in Damascus approved it. Syrian Damascus.
