Palestinian-Palestinian clashes and killing of members of the Authority

Internal Palestinian clashes took place in the West Bank between the Palestinian Authority, the Kassam factions and Jerusalem companies, killing members of the Authority.
Media sources confirmed that the Authority’s bodies were using RPGs during violent clashes with fighters in Jenin camp.
It noted that two security elements from the Authority had been killed in Jenin as a result of the clashes.
A spokesman for the authority’s security services said that two soldiers had been killed, and he continued: “We will only be determined to confront anyone who tries to threaten the security of the homeland.”
He added: “There will be no leniency for the stray, lawless category.”
