Pentagon: We carried out two raids on two facilities in eastern Syria

The Pentagon announced that the strikes by US forces in Syria were to protect these forces, and said in the context: “We carried out two separate raids on two facilities in eastern Syria.”
The Pentagon confirmed that Iran supports militias that attacked Americans in northeastern Syria, and said, “We do not seek conflict with Iran, and our mission in Syria is to ensure the complete elimination of statehood.”
“We are confident that the march targeting our facility in Syria is Iranian,” he added, announcing that he would retain the right of reply if his forces were targeted.
