Putin, Erdogan and joint action in Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, discussed, in a phone call, joint action between the two countries’ military forces to prevent escalation in the Syrian Idlib region.
The Kremlin said, in a statement, that Putin and Erdogan discussed, during a call between them, today, Thursday, issues related to the settlement of the crisis in Syria.
The two presidents also stressed, according to the statement, “the great importance of the joint work of the Russian and Turkish military aimed at preventing an escalation of tension in Idlib, northwest of the country, and combating the remaining terrorist formations in this region.”
Putin and Erdogan agreed to continue personal bilateral contacts and joint work at other levels.
