Putin to Macron: Ukraine is not serious about negotiations

Russian President Vladimir Putin told Macron during a phone call between them that Ukraine was not serious about negotiations to end the conflict, Agence France-Presse reported.
During the call, which lasted more than two hours, Putin noted the disregard of European Union countries for war crimes committed by Ukraine.
Putin also told his French counterpart that the West should stop supplying Ukraine with weapons, and briefed him on the conduct of the military operation in Ukraine and the evacuation of civilians from Azovstal.
For his part, Macron expressed to Putin his concern about the repercussions of the war on global food security, as Putin assured him that global food security problems are mainly caused by Western sanctions.
