Qassem: The Resistance’s Patience on Israeli Violations May Run Out Before the 60-Day Deadline

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naeem Qassem, stated that the resistance’s patience regarding Israeli violations may run out before the 60-day deadline that was set earlier.
Qassem made this statement during a televised speech on the fifth anniversary of the assassination of former Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and their companions.
Qassem emphasized that Israel had failed in its repeated attempts over 64 days to advance into Lebanese territory, managing only to move a few hundred meters, attributing this failure to the strength and resilience of the resistance.
He added, “After the Battle of the Brave, there is no possibility for the Israeli enemy to invade our lands as it wishes.”
He further pointed out that the resistance’s decision to respond to Israeli violations is contingent upon the appropriate circumstances, and their patience could run out before the 60 days, or it could extend for a longer period.
He stated that the leadership of the resistance will determine when to endure and when to respond.
Regarding the election of a president in Lebanon, Qassem explained that Hezbollah is keen on ensuring that the presidential election is based on consensus among parliamentary blocs through open sessions, considering that such an agreement is the best way to overcome the current political crisis.
