Real Madrid squad for today’s derby

Coach Carlo Ancelotti has chosen the list of the team that will play the derby match against Atlético Madrid on Sunday, which will be held at the Wandamitropolitano stadium, at the top of the sixth round of the Spanish League.

Real Madrid seeks to win this match despite the difficulty of the task, in order to maintain the lead with the full mark, as the team has not faltered in any game since the beginning of the season, but the traditional rivals Barcelona is only two points away from it.

The list also witnessed the absence of French striker Karim Benzema due to the injury he suffered in the Celtic match in the opening round of the European Champions League, and Real Madrid also misses Lucas Vazquez due to injury.

But the good news came with the return of Brazilian defender Eder Militao, who suffered a minor injury that prevented him from participating in the last two matches against Mallorca and Leipzig, but his participation mainly is still not decided, according to what Carlo Ancelotti confirmed in the press conference. Real Madrid’s official list for the derby match is as follows:-

Defense Line: Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Jesus Vallejo, Nacho, Alvaro Odriozola, Antonio Rudiger and Ferland Mendy.

Midfield: Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Chuamini and Dani Ceballos.
