Renewing the contract of the most expensive salary in the world

Atletico Madrid, competing in the Spanish First Division, on Thursday renewed the contract of its Argentine coach, Diego Simeone, until 2027.
The 53-year-old coach is the one who has led Atletico Madrid the most in history, with 642 matches.
Simeone is also the highest-paid technical director in the world, earning an estimated salary of 34 million euros annually.
Simeone also previously wore the Atletico Madrid shirt before his retirement, and scored 30 goals during the 167 matches he played in two eras with the Spanish team.
