Ronaldo donates to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria

Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudi Al-Nasr club striker, sent humanitarian aid to those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northern Syria last month, at a value of about $350,000.

The Spanish newspaper, MARCA, reported that Ronaldo sent an aid plane to those affected, which included the costs of transporting tents, food parcels, pillows, blankets, beds, baby food, milk, and medical tools.

The newspaper pointed out that Ronaldo’s initiative was highly praised by the player’s followers around the world, stressing that his sympathy and generosity towards the needy and affected is an excellent example for celebrities and other individuals.

And the Turkish player Merih Demiral – Ronaldo’s former colleague in Juventus – announced, days after the earthquake, that he had sold the shirts of a number of his former colleagues in a charity auction, the profits of which would go to help those affected by the earthquake in Turkey.

The shirts offered in the auction included a Juventus shirt signed by Cristiano Ronaldo, who gave it as a donation to those affected, the second from Paulo Dybala, the current Roma player, and the third from the current Juventus star, Leonardo Bonucci.

And the head of the General Authority for Entertainment in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, published a video clip – via his Twitter account – showing the meeting of Ronaldo and the child, and commented, saying: “Your joy is a joy for me. to a global superstar.

And the child said in the video clip, which garnered more than 5 million views, “My dream was to see Ronaldo, and today it came true. I love Cristiano, because he knows how to play (he is good at playing) a ball (ball), and I wish to play like him and train in the Saudi victory.”
