Russia: Monitoring Moscow’s Position on Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan

The Kremlin welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts to end the conflict in Gaza, wishing success for the peace plan and affirming Russia’s readiness to contribute to resolving the situation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “We hope that Trump’s peace plan in Gaza will be implemented and that peace will spread across the Middle East.”

Peskov clarified that Russia is not directly participating in Trump’s plan to end the conflict in Gaza and has not received any indications from the United States regarding it, but maintains contacts with all parties to the conflict and is ready to make efforts to resolve the situation.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday, September 29, a 20-point plan aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza. The plan includes the formation of a “temporary international stabilization force” in cooperation with Jordan and Egypt, emphasizing that all parties are approaching an agreement on a ceasefire.
