Russia Opens New Horizons in Cancer Treatment: Artificial Intelligence Accelerates the Launch of the Anti-Cancer Vaccine

Alexander Gintsburg, Director of the Gamaleya Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology in Russia, announced that the first doses of the anti-cancer vaccine will be available to patients in September, after being developed within the field of immunotherapy for cancer. The vaccine aims to provide personalized treatment for each patient based on the characteristics of their tumor.

The vaccine is manufactured individually using artificial intelligence technologies, which help analyze the tumor’s properties and determine the components of the treatment. Thanks to this technology, the vaccine will be prepared within a week, enhancing its effectiveness and precision.

According to Gintsburg, the action plan has been submitted to the Russian Ministry of Health for final approval, with the vaccine expected to receive authorization by the end of August. Initially, it will be used to treat patients with primary skin cancer as well as those who have completed certain stages of treatment.

President Vladimir Putin described the Russian anti-cancer vaccine as a “great scientific achievement” for oncologists at the Russian Ministry of Health, after completing pre-clinical studies.
