Russia reveals the number of terrorist organizations in Afghanistan

The Russian Security Council revealed that there are more than 20 terrorist organizations operating on Afghan soil, with an average of 1,000 terrorists belonging to each organization.
“Terrorism is at the top of the list of threats arising from the situation in Afghanistan,” said Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council.
He added that the secretaries of the security councils of the countries participating in the consultations in New Delhi agreed to strengthen coordination on Afghanistan, especially in the areas of combating terrorism, drug smuggling and irregular migration.
Patrushev considered that the United States and its allies are continuing their work to deteriorate the situation in Afghanistan by isolating it economically, stressing that 18 million Afghan citizens suffer from hunger.
