Saddam Hussein’s daughter publishes her father’s memoirs in detention

Raghad, the daughter of the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, has published part of her father’s memoirs during his detention by the US military in Iraq.
In a tweet on the X website, Raghad Saddam Hussein published several pages (40 pages) of her father’s memoirs, written in his handwriting, talking about his diaries in detention, such as the admission of doctors, his examination, and some of the dreams he had in detention.
Raghad Hussein commented, “The nation is not fine and Iraq is not fine, my father.
She added: “Today I decided to start publishing a small part of your memoirs in my own way, because publishing houses have caveats about publishing them and today will be important for many of your fans and even others.”
