Salam Condemns Suburb Airstrike, Calls for Full Israeli Withdrawal

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned the Israeli airstrike carried out earlier today, Friday, in Beirut’s southern suburb, describing it as a “dangerous escalation.”

According to a statement published by the Prime Minister’s Office on X, Salam denounced the Israeli attacks targeting civilians and residential areas that house schools and universities. He emphasized the need to halt Israel’s continuous violations of the arrangements for ceasing hostilities and urged a full and immediate withdrawal from all remaining occupied areas.
