Saudi aid to Donbass

The Director of the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, revealed that Riyadh is ready to provide humanitarian aid to the residents of Donbass, in the event of receiving an official request.

“We help people wherever they are,” Ibn Abdul Aziz said during an interview on the sidelines of the Third International Humanitarian Forum in Riyadh.

In response to a question about whether Riyadh was ready to provide assistance to the residents of Donbass, he said, “So far we have received a request from Ukraine, but let’s receive it from Donbass.”

Speaking about Kiev’s requests, he said that they are currently related to blankets, heaters, water treatment plants, and Saudi Arabia is currently collecting the necessary humanitarian aid and has not yet sent it.
