Saudi Arabia bars Mexico from accompanying Argentina for second round

Saudi Arabia prevented their Mexican counterparts from qualifying for the second round of the World Cup by scoring a sole goal against Ochoa despite losing by two goals.
Mexico’s team needed to win three goals to move into the second round after equalizing with Poland on points and goals in what was fair play for Poland, and with Saudi Arabia scoring a single goal before the end of the meeting officially knocked Mexico out of the World Cup.
For its part, Argentina led the group with 7 points and Poland accompanied it with 4 points despite losing by two unanswered goals.
Argentina will face Australia in the second round, while the Polish team will clash with the world champion of France.
